first of all.. I WAS REJECTED. Just letting you all know.
In the beginning there was nothing. Which exploded. Since then the universe has been expanding and changing. In the year 1991 A.D., relative to earth, a child named Corey Hokanson was born. I am that child.
I lived in Utah, then Texas; and moved here to the wonderful state of Oregon when I was in kindergarten. Since then seeing sun has been a rare occurrence. Oh well. I go to a school district where the teachers have gone on strike twice in the last twelve years and our high school was built back in the forties.
I enjoy reading and programming, and like to learn about physics. I've played flute since the sixth grade, played chess since early grade school, and my earliest memory is learning how to multiply in a Roadhouse restaurant with my Grandpa and my Dad. I was three... maybe four.
I know nothing about college life. That's what the next 4-6 years are for. I do however, happen to be going through the college application process right now. So i guess it's my job to tell you all about that. :)
So keep up the work on the apps and financial aid, and check back here for more stories to keep you distracted.
