I'm trying to think of really witty things to write here, like the other bloggers. Sigh. I guess I'll just go with the regular stuff.
So, I'm Tree (It's simpler to remember than my legal name).
I like the color black, the scent of vanilla, mayonnaise, balloons, playing around with solder wire, have paradoxical tastes in music and I tend to laugh at almost everything. I crack lame, math/science related jokes that none of my friends understand.
I like to experiment; I've dipped my hand in a vessel of frying oil to see what it feels like, mixed salt and milk as a kid to make 'salty milk', jumped into the rapids in a freezing river while whitewater rafting, tried to prove that the time period of a pendulum IS related to the mass of the bob, or human, attached to it.
My definition of 'fun' extends to obsessing over stars and the sky, trying to make paper planes fly higher, transferring sounds into words (pfft.), breaking my eight-year old Rubik's to see if I could make one for my physics project (No.), using (parenthesis), trying out new desserts (Brownies with gummy bears sucks) and writing poetry (Did I mention I love Literature? Well, I do.)
I also like playing with mercury. It's the coolest thing ever. I once stole a bit from my physics lab but had to return it because people found tiny silvery beads all around me.
I dislike jack-fruit, loud yellow shoes, people who comment as Anonymous (buy yourself some courage, loser), excessive use of pink, weather that makes me sweat constantly (Bombay in summer), self-righteousness, two faced jerks and inorganic chemistry.
I can be bribed with ice cream(not chocolate flavored), witty conversation, blueberry muffins, good pasta, Auden's Collected Works, nice and genuine smiles, intelligible compliments for my poetry, a DSLR camera, a Macbook, good designs, black tee-shirts, Van Gough's art, a new Rubik's cube, orchids, stationery, more solder wire, mercury, good old green paper to fund my AP textbooks, and cylindrical decision letters.
I'm opinionated. And I talk a lot. Like I just did.
I'm a Physics junkie. And I love Literature. But Math is beautiful too.
